PKK's experience of running vocational training programmes dates back to 1981. Since 1987, we have also been involved in the economic rehabilitation of adults with disabilities.
We have our own vocational training programmes and have also promoted a co-operative of adult deaf persons for vocational and rehabilitation activities.

The vocational training programme can be divided into two phases. The first phase addresses the areas essential for skill development. Instructions are given on mathematics, general knowledge and language. There are a few practical classes to orient the trainees towards different jobs.
The second phase covers practical training in skills required in particular areas :

  • Offset Printing

  • DTP operating

  • Tailoring

  • Computer

  • Binding and lamination

  • Silk Screen Printing
